The Zambia Transit eVisa is designed for eligible travelers who need to pass through Zambia while continuing to another destination by land. Zambia’s Department of Immigration states that a transit visa is issued to foreign nationals who require a visa to enter Zambia and are transiting through the country using land transport. The visa is valid for a maximum of seven days. Applicants generally need a passport-sized photograph, a copy of their passport, and a signed cover letter addressed to the Director-General of Immigration. Travelers transiting directly by air without leaving the airport precinct do not require a transit visa under the current guidance. Applicants should confirm their itinerary and nationality requirements before submitting an application.
