The Democratic Republic of the Congo Tourist Visa is intended for foreign visitors traveling to the DRC for tourism and leisure. Depending on nationality and circumstances, applicants may apply through a DRC embassy or use the official eVisa system when eligible. Embassy guidance commonly requires a valid passport, completed application form, recent passport photograph, invitation or guarantee from a host or tourism organization, return travel evidence, and proof of accommodation or sufficient funds. A yellow-fever vaccination certificate may also be required. Travelers should ensure that the visa corresponds to tourism because short-stay visitors are not permitted to undertake paid employment. Applicants should check the requirements of the DRC diplomatic mission responsible for their place of residence before submitting their application.
